WatchWatch
The doomed @kickstarter video from September 2010 is kinda funny in retrospect. I was a little sleep deprived that day.  That’s my fundraising tip, sleep before you have to make a pitch video. It’ll cut down on the editing time, too! (wink emoticon denoting sarcasm) http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/523762346/vampire-mob-season-two-support-indie-tv?ref=card

I’ll let you know.  http://gawker.com/Mouthpiece/ I understand that in Hollywood it’s a lot easier to sell a show concept if it latches on to an already popular trend, but...

People telling People a story, hmm.
Making this story has been one amazing fucking ride, one that’s been rattling along for over two years.  This ride has also slammed and bounced me around and a couple times the wheels were completely off the rail, but I’m still hanging on and it’s still a lot of fun. I’ve made a point of keeping it fun because that’s what started this all, fun. 7 days a week, 12-18...

How I write a Cafe Play in Four Hours
Five plays are written and put on a stage in 10.5 hours.  Seriously.   “L.A. Cafe Plays” at the Ruskin Group Theatre is exactly that and it’s been happening for eight years, once a month.   I’ve been taking part for two of those eight years and writing a play in four of those ten hours. The rest of the time the cast is rehearsing with a director. I wrote one this...

If you like to tell stories. No one can stop you.
Blog it, post it on YouTube, hold up signs to passersby, tweet it - done, story told! But if you want to make a big time movie or network TV show, it’s a little more complicated. Those stories are told by companies who invest in films and TV shows hoping to make a profit and it’s really fucking expensive for a variety of reasons.  It’s also really hard to get those companies...

“Isn’t it interesting how after I complete John and Joe’s on camera audition class, the first audition I have a week later I book a SAG feature.” - Kenny Lombino “John and Joe integrate the camera into every aspect of the class until you forget that it’s there, and in a very short period of time the camera becomes your friend, one more resource at your...
